Seattle

Seattle was great. It’s a really nice place and the weather was good all week. It’s big, kinda like London – but not shit.

We spent the week doing mostly touristy things, walking around the city checking out all the various attractions. We went up the space needle, went to various parks, did some shopping, etc. At first we were a little daunted by the size, but after spending the time to walk from the hotel to the Seattle Center (where the space needle is) the whole place seemed a bit smaller and we spent most of the week on foot since we didn’t really want to try and learn how to use their free metro system.

The hotel staff were awesome and helped us out a lot with any questions and problems we had – in fact generally the customer service over there was really good no matter where you went – except the airport. SeaTac airport sucks, it was a horrible place.

There’s lots of pictures on flickr – there’d be more but my camera died and I forgot my charger :(

I’d write more but I’m not feeling too coherent at the moment. Mmmmmm, jet lag…
