More moving fun
They say that moving is one of the most stressful things you can do in your life.
They are not wrong.
I ordered my TV for a Saturday delivery. It doesn’t turn up. No note, no phone call, nothing. At either the new or old address. Eventually it turns out that it was sent to the old address, but couldn’t go there because they only had the flat number and the city. Why the fuck they didn’t query this and sort it out them selves is beyond me, did they really think that there was only one Flat 2 in the whole of Poole? Quite how they got that botched info is beyond me as well. And of course, couldn’t contact the delivery company until Monday. Fuckers! And couldn’t pick it up myself or get it delivered to the right address because the delivery company had to be told it by eBuyer, they couldn’t accept the details from me. Bureaucratic bullshit. Then eBuyer couldn’t redirect to the new address because of some silly crap to do with the order being placed via Google Checkout. It would have been nice to have been informed that such limitations would be in place if I used Google Checkout before I ordered.
Then, on Monday, waited for BT to arrive and fit my phone line. No one showed up, no note, no phone call, no email, no text, nothing. Wasted over £10 trying to contact them and being put on queues. Still have no idea when its going to be resolved, if ever. It didn’t help that I really needed to be at work that day, and so not only was it a complete waste of time, it was annoying in that I could have been working but was instead twiddling my thumbs all day. So far BT have wasted 6 hours of my time, £10 of my money and still have yet to contact me. Great way to get a new customer guys.
At least I made some more progress on Heavenly Sword, which is an awesome game by the way.
